Custom Applications: The images you find on my web site are representative of the extensive catalogue of transparencies I have compiled from 35 years of shooting. I am interested in matching your interests and needs for images from my collection. If you have a particular need, or a space to fill, send me a description or digital image of the area and I will send you thumbnails with suggestions that might work.

I specialize in providing sets of images for custom applications and am happy to talk with you. E-mail me and I will call you. My prices are negotiable based on the number of prints, custom sizes, and matting required.

Photo Editors: The images I have are available for one-time application or may be licensed for publication. Contact me for details.

In order to review the images you may download the low-resolution images from this site, and I will e-mail other low-resolution images from my stock at your request. Delivery of full images will be by CD/DVD via FedEx.

All of the photos published must have my credit line ---- Wayne Fawbush fine photography ©

Technical Data: All my images are first captured on fine grain transparency film. My black-and-white photos of Japan are all 6 X 9 cm format shot on Kodak Tri-X. A portion of my West Coast material is on medium format professional Ektachrome. For the majority of my work I used a variety of Nikon cameras and lenses initially using Kodachrome 25 and 64, and for the last 12 years Fuji Pro Velvia ASA50.

I use a Nikon 9000 Scanner to convert the images into digital format. A 35 mm slide converts into 4,000 x 5,904 dpi at 16-bit depth.

The images are fine-tuned using Photoshop CS. My goal is to present an image that represents what I saw when I took the picture. I do remove flaws and occasionally an electric line, but I rely mainly on my initial composition.

Collection Contents: The following list is organized by subject matter. Occasionally there will be judgment calls about where to put a particular image, but the logic of the headings works pretty well.
